LAYING OF U-PVC PIPES IN MUDDY OR SWAMP FIELDS

In the land where the ground is not solid, considering the risk of collapsing, regions, where there is a risk of collaps, should be reinforced with stones or wedges under the pipeline before laying U-PVC pipes. The formation of point loads on the pipeline should be prevented. As an additional precaution in risky areas where ground transport forces are low, the pipes are glued to prevent the pipes from coming out at the joints if the pipe is seated down. If the pipes are glued, we remind you that the expansion and shrinkage caused by the temperature change will not be prevented. Therefore, the gluing process should be preferred where the temperature differences are not much.

U-PVC pipes have a more fragile structure than some plastic pipes, such as polyethylene pipes, so if possible, we recommend that street passages be made with more flexible polyethylene pipes. If U-PVC pipes are required to be used at the street crossing, then U-PVC pipes that will pass through the street must be passed through another protective pipe against traffic load.
