Assembly of U-PVC Pipes;
a) bonding of adhesive bellmouth pipes;
1- Assembling areas of the parts to be bonded to each other are cleaned from all dust, oil, dirt, and burrs using a clean liquid.

2- Adhesive area is marked according to bellmouth size.

3-The bonding areas are sanded appropriately on both parts to be assembled. After the grinding process, the bonding areas are re-cleaned and dried with the cleaning liquid.
4- Adhesive is applied on both parts to be bonded with a clean brush on the bonding areas. If too much adhesive is applied on the parts, the excess is taken back into the adhesive box.
5-After the adhesive is applied properly, the parts are pushed into quickly and without waiting.
6-when the pieces are pushed into one another, excess adhesive is cleaned out.

b) Assembly of Insert (Sealed) Bellmouth Pipes;

PİMTAŞ U-PVC Sealed bellmouth pipes' bellmouth parts are produced in sizes to fit into the pipe with the same diameter. In the bellmouth section, there is a seal niche to insert the 'Z' seal. The other end of the pipe is produced in a conical structure that is half as thick as the pulp and makes an angle of 15 degrees.
When inserting, the 'Z' gasket is placed in the bellmouth so that its lips are fully seated inside the gasket housing.
A lubricant (soap,machinery, etc.) to the end of the pipe.) is driven and the male end of the pipe is pushed into the bellmouth so that the gasket does not shift from place. The thrust process is
carried out according to the depth of the bellmouth, with different dimensions for each diameter.
Preparation of trenches for PVC pipe installation ;
In order to ensure that the life of the pipe is long and smooth, the pipes should be prepared in accordance with the PVC pipes and the pipes should be laid carefully.
The trench floor must be flat and without stones. The width of the trench should be 70 cm by adding the pipe diameter to DIN 4124 standard, if the ditch is to be constructed with a very high quality bearing and filling material, it may be sufficient to open the ditch width 40 cm wider than the pipe diameter. The installation of PVC pipes must be carried out in accordance with DIN 4033 standard. It is very important that the pipes are laid down lower than the depth in which frost is effective.
If the pipe will be laid directly on the surface, the bellmouth parts will remain in the soil, that is, the pipe body will be made to contact the soil exactly so that when the soil load on the pipe bellmouth do not make the pipe move.
If the bottom of the trench is stony and not smooth, in this case, the beddings are made under the pipe in 15 cm depth and the pipes are laid in such a way that the pipe body will remain
in the sand and the pipe body will be laid in such a way that it will be in full contact with the soil. The bearing sand needs to be compressed. After that, 30 cm high stone floor layer is covered on the pipe. Since no pressure test is done, sand is not covered on the additional parts. After the pressure test is done, the places on the additional parts are closed likewise.
When filling in very cold weather conditions, frozen soil should not be laid on the pipe. 30 cm fill soil is also filled with the empty part of the trench on the ground coming out of the trench with climate conditions and soil type 1-1,5 meters between the filling and if desired, the pipe is compressed by refraining any damage.
Laying PVC pipes into prepared ditches;
The pipes should be cleaned from the dirt before installation. It is very important to take every precaution to prevent things like stones, soil, etc. from entering the pipes during the pipe laying. If desired, the pipes are wrapped together and covered with soil (the additional parts can not be covered with soil if no more pressure tests have been done), or if desired, the pipes are added to each other outside the trench and then placed into the trench on the girders of the boards gradually prepared. The pipe line, which is made by removing the wooden beams one at a time and joining it outside the trench, is slowly enclosed in the trench. Pipes should be laid in a stress-free way and in such a way that the joints are placed in the soil, that is, the pipe body should be laid in such a way that the soil is fully seated.
When laying U-PVC pipes into the trench, too much bending should be avoided. The maximum bending amount that can be done on U-PVC pipes which are produced in accordance with the standards is shown in the next table.
When bending U-PVC pipes and making large-scale turns, both bending pipe and elevation should be avoided. This will be a huge mistake and the installation will certainly be misplaced due to sprained.


The U-PVC pipes to be used without covering anything on or above the surface of the U-PVC pipes are joined together because of temperature changes in the boiler length and shrinkage considering the following table of length is marked to pipe ends.

The end of the pipe is then completely inserted into the bellmouth until the pipe tip disappears. Then the pipe is rotated slightly and the point is drawn back until the point is aligned with the outside edge of the bellmouth. In the case of expansion or shrinkage of the pipe due to heat, the pipe can move back and forth in the space obtained in this way and thus prevent the damage of the line.
